These two are musical wind whistle/flute Pottery vessels.  Not sure what country made them as we got them from a neighbor around 1984 but she had them for many years before and possibly brought them from her trip as a child from Czech Republic a village in Moravia when she came to this country in the early 1922, but not sure.  She never had children and gave them to mine.  They are made of a hard pottery.  Carved with 11 holes and the mouth openings.  The white one, 7" long, has painted hole openings and a face designed on the front; it has a fatter rounded belly 9" around at widest point; signed F.V. (probably the person's initials who painted it) and has a really nice tone.  The tan one, 9" long, is sleek and simple with smaller holes and sound is just ok.  I have never played an instrument so thinking only that they are in "C".

Any questions please ask and if you know more about these it would be nice if you would let me know more.

Thank you
