Total length 22 inches

To make sure something will fit, take measurements from a piece of clothing that fits you well and use those measurements to compare. If you use your personal actual measurements, you should always figure needing two inches extra for breathing room.

Label- No label present. This may have been hand sewn, but I am more on the side of factory made.

No closures. This slips over the head

Fabric is a thick, soft and fuzzy, knit. It has texture woven throughout. The shoulder triangles are thicker, with more texture. There is no fabric content. It has some natural fibers, perhaps lambswool or angora.  Unlined.

Condition
No stains, holes, or tears. This fabric has a fuzzy surface texture that naturally likes to create pills. This one does not have many pills, but there may be a few.

What Diane Likes About This Sweater
The 80s liked things big and bold, They liked to be experimental and they would often sacrifice body consciousness for those goals. This sweater is just such an example. The designer wanted to play with shapes and textures and wanted to use the body to show those off. It is the reverse thinking of using the fabric to show off the body. You see that in couture or high fashion, but never in the mainstream anymore. This is one of the things I have come to admire about the 1980s.

"Fashion you can buy, but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are, which takes years.
There's no how-to road map to style. It's about self expression and, above all, attitude."   Iris Apfel

“Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say and not giving a damn.”   Gore Vidal

This sweater weighs well over 1 pound and can ship ground advantage or priority mail. Both options are offered.

I have a large amount of vintage clothing and I am always adding new pieces!
