Clean, from a pet free and smoke free home. A few pulled threads here and there. And one spot of the waterproof back is torn as seen in the photos. But there are no stains or repairs or any serious issues with either of these.

We always liked having two, so we could switch over quickly if one got soiled. lots of other uses besides in the crib.
