An odd visitor forces all of us to rethink our ideas of belief and faith in PK, the latest blockbuster comedy from 3 Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani. The filmmaker reunites with his 3 Idiots star Aamir Khan for this offbeat fantasy comedy that shattered box office records and ignited important debates about the role of religion in Indian society.

Khan stars as a visitor from another planet who comes to Earth on a research trip. However, the remote to retrieve his spaceship is stolen almost as soon as he arrives, trapping him on Earth. On his journey to find his remote, the alien visitor – now nicknamed PK for his stumbling innocent nature – discovers the concept of religion and questions the effectiveness of certain cults that seem to be out for profit rather than worship. With the help of a curious reporter (Anushka Sharma), PK comes up with the concept of "wrong number," the idea that certain cult leaders aren't really speaking to God, but rather a prankster on the other end of the line.

Synopsis :

Alien PK driving the spacecraft from the other end of the universe has come to earth to perform tasks, Fu landing will be snatched spacecraft remote, cannot return to their homes. Earth people tell him only the Almighty "God" to help him, simple straightforward PK but to everywhere in the whereabouts of "stupid questions" inquire "God", but found that the Earth Sky deities.
