This sale is for the last of these Northern Bank £10 notes before they were changed to Danske Bank.
All these notes are the more scarce replacement YY serial numbers, dated 9th November 2008 & signature of Gerry Mallon.
There is a variety of grades & prices, so you can pick a price & condition which is suitable for your budget/collection.

2008
UNC.
These are perfect notes without any teller handling marks etc. NOTE some of them have guillotine marks & a waviness where the strip runs vertically through the note.

2008 About Uncirculated.
Have some minor handling marks, such as bank counting marks, or light fold but no heavy creases. These are virtually perfect notes.

2008 Extremely Fine.
Have light handling marks & light folds, but no heavy creasing.

2008 Very Fine.
These have had a short time in circulation so contain folds & handling marks. None have heavy creases or tares & are still very firm.

These notes have had extensive circulation so contain creasing & folds, they are still nice & firm with sharp corners/edges, clean & none have any tears or nicks, they are on the better side of Fine.

YY0018107, this note as described above, but with the addition of a small graffiti mark of '60' on the reverse.
These lower cost notes give the chance for a new collector or one who cannot afford to put the cost into premium high priced notes, to obtain affordable notes. Most of us did this at the beginning, then when a better note became available & we could afford it, we sold the lower grade & replaced it with the better more expensive one.

This date is proving to be even more scarce than the 2008 note, very few are turning up.

(Sold YY0065607). Has been rescued from circulation so contains some fine folds/counting marks, there are no heavy creases. It is firm with sharp corners & edges, there are no nicks or tares.
VF.
(Sold YY0063097). This note has had slightly more circulation than the previous so contains general surface folds, there is also a couple of heavier creases. It is still very firm with nice sharp corners & edges which are free from nicks or tares.
