Up for sale are these very popular bolt ring catches for bracelets or chains in real Sterling silver.  

These are NOT plated or silver filled, they are solid sterling silver & will not tarnish or cause irritation (except you are allergic to silver) & they have been manufactured in the UK.

There are now four sizes available -- 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm & 7mm. Please use the drop down list to choose your required size.

I intend to add further sizes, if there is a size you require & it is not listed, please ask.

HOW TO FIT

The jump ring used to fit these to the chain is opened, so with a pair of suitable small or pointy pliers they can be fitted without any soldering needed, check where the opening is, twist the outer part of the ring side wards, (do not pull it straight up), then carefully twist it closed making sure there is no visible space in the joint.

Your original catch is most likely open also, remove this first it will give you some practice on how to fit the new catch.                                  If it is soldered, which would be unusal, carefully nip it off with pliers or similar, be careful not to cut the chain or its end ring.                    Do not throw it away, put it in any old silver or gold items you have, it all adds up.

If required, we can open these rings for you which means all you need to do is hook your item in & close the ring (see picture).
