Minolta XD is a Japanese name. 
It was sold as a model called XD11 in North America and XD7 in Europe.
This is the world's first model equipped with 
both shutter priority AE and aperture priority AE functions.
Late Model is a historical model that realized the world's first program AE. 
You can do this by setting the shutter speed to 125 (green), 
shutter-priority AE mode (green), and lens aperture to maximum aperture (green). 
XD-S is a Japan limited model. 
Diopter correction function has been added to XD.
