You are buying a Nassau Green Parker 51 Fountain Pen.

Nassau is the most desirable color to serious collectors.

It has a 1945 3rd Quarter date code. It comes with nice gold filled cap. The cap has a blue diamond clip. Most of the blue is worn.

No significant dents or dings on cap.

The barrel imprint is very nice. It has a 5 date code with 1 dot. 3rd quarter of 1945.

The pen is not filling when water tested. A new diaphragm is needed to fill the pen.

I’d rate the pen a solid 7.5/10. A great candidate to use and show off.

A couple of modest distractions are:

There is a dark band just above the junction of the barrel and blind cap. This may dissipate when the filler is removed for restoration. It may remain but it isn’t too dark. See red arrow in last pic. There is a ring of roughness on the shell probably caused from the cap clutch. This most surely can be buffed out. (Red arrow in 2nd to last pic.)
