One of the primary reasons behind our utilization of a Black Pantone Ink-dyed mother-of-pearl lies in its capacity to vividly portray the ethereal mirroring of the nocturnal heavens. "Suigetsu," eloquently translated as the "Moonglade," encapsulates the enchanting spectacle of oceanic undulations beneath the moonlit sky. Through beholding the resplendent dial of Kaguya Suigetsu, one is instantly transported to that magical juncture, where the Mother-of-Pearl's resplendent canvas seamlessly intertwines hues of azure and amethyst.

The Wancher Watch was created to showcase the story of Kaguya through its design elements. As a tribute to Kaguya, who was a princess of the moon, the watch features a large and vibrant 2nd subdial at 10 o'clock that depicts the moon phase. While the watch does function as a moon-phase watch to a certain degree, it is primarily an art watch rather than a tool watch.
It's important to note that the watch was not designed to provide 100% accurate results on the moon phase, but rather to serve as an aesthetic aspect of the timepiece. The moon phase cycle of the watch is 31 days, and by replacing the date wheel with the shape of the moon, a particular moon phase in a month is mimicked. Although an actual moon phase watch indeed runs on a 29.5-day cycle, the focus of the Wancher Watch was to highlight the beauty of the Raden dial and to pay homage to the story of the Moon princess.
In summary, the Wancher Watch is a unique timepiece that blends both art and function. While it may not provide 100% accurate results on the moon phase, it does feature a stunning and vivid representation of the moon phase that adds to the overall beauty of the watch.
To change the moon phase, pull the crown to 2nd position and wind the crown to a moon phase position the current moon phase
