Vintage Mid-Century Modern ceramic fox planter.

Adorable and rare find for a fox and/or wildlife lover.

Not in perfect condition, but to be expected for something this old and delicate.

Has some minor paint wear on the log that the fox is laying on. The fox has two tiny chips, but they are on the backside and definitely not readily seen. One is around the opening on the backside where you put in flowers or a plant inside. The other is on the backside of one of his ears, but it looks like it's under the glaze.

I bought some new fall color artificial flowers, so they are brand new. I did not buy any moss that could go all around the planter opening. The would definitely hide the one tiny chip on the backside edge and hide the green Styrofoam that the flowers were placed in. I'm obviously not a flower arranger and that is not my forte, so I'm sure the flowers could be made to look much better with the planter!

I took close up pics of the paint wear and two tiny chips.

It really is a great piece. Tan/beige/cream colors in the fox with some hints of orange in his tail. He is laying on a light brown log.

Measures approx 12"W x 9-3/8" H x 6"Deep and weighs approx 3 lb.

I don't see any glaze crazing, and did check it carefully.

Choice of S&H.
