This is an FL (dreadnought shape) model that uses AAA grade black wood throughout the body.
Blackwood is an attractive wood that has bright acoustic characteristics similar to koa wood and a slight warmth. Compared to Bunya wood, which has a good balance, the outline of the sound is clear, so it is perfect for light phrases such as cutting! Especially when combined with the dreadnought shape, it has a good feel, so it is also recommended for those who want to use it for percussion.

"Grade 3", the highest class model in the series, which uses black wood on the entire body, is now in stock. In particular, this instrument is the "AE (Australian Eco)" model, and is a series that uses all wood from Australia.

An all-veneer FL shape (dreadnought) with black wood used throughout the body.
Blackwood has the same tonal character as koa wood, which is a rare wood, and is characterized by a clear and brilliant sound. By combining this with the dreadnought shape that has sound pressure, it produces a gorgeous yet deep tone.
Because it is made of hard wood, it is ideal for the feel of the body, the jittery sound when cutting chords, and the body slam technique, which creates percussive performances by hitting the body.

Avalon is used for the fingerboard inlay, rosette, and body waist decoration. It will delight you not only with its sound but also with its looks. The sound is different from Series 1 and 2, and you can feel the sound pressure and firmness of the live sound, which is unique to Series 3.

And it adopts the "3way pickup system" which is Cole Clark's biggest feature. A bridge pickup installed under the bridge that produces a hard, well-defined sound. A face sensor pickup embedded in the top bracing material that picks up all of the body rumble and attack to produce a soft sound.
Blending this bridge pickup and face sensor is the same as the 2-way system in Series 1, but the 3-way system allows you to further mix in the raw sound of a condenser microphone. This condenser microphone is installed at the bottom of the preamplifier control, and collects realistic live sound with a fluffy and soft taste.
