Cole Clark is an Australian guitar manufacturer founded in 2001.
Although it is still a young manufacturer, it is especially loved by live musicians, both professional and amateur, and is sure to lead the electric and acoustic guitar world in the future!
Made in Australia, Grade 1.
386mm Wide, all veneer grand auditorium shape.
The top is A grade Coal Clark's most popular Bunya, and the sides/back are A grade Queensland Maple.
Bunya is native to Australia and is slightly harder than Sitka spruce, making it particularly suitable for percussive play.
Bracing is a unique feature of Cole Clark. This individual is the latest bracing that incorporates traditional X bracing in the center of the previously adopted A bracing.
The 25.5" long scale Queensland maple neck has a sea oak fingerboard. "River Sea Oak" is different from the oak that is famous for drums, and is made of rosewood. It has characteristics that are between those of ebony.
There is something unique here as well.
The "Queensland Maple" used for the body side/back and neck is different from the conventional so-called American maple, and has characteristics similar to mahogany and sapele.
Cole Clark features high vibration transmission due to the integral neck (joint) and a strong head/neck joint due to the non-straight scarf joint! The pegs are equipped with stable Grover Rotomatics.
It also has a 3-way pickup system.
It is possible to combine an undersaddle type "piezo pickup", a "face sensor" attached to the back of the body top (near the bridge), and a "condenser microphone" equipped on the internal board. This allows you to create a natural and three-dimensional sound.
Anyway, the clear and thick sound resonates very comfortably. It has a well-balanced sound whether it's stroke or fingerpicking, and it's attractive that you have a high degree of freedom of expression by adding an attack or arranging it in a percussive style!
The silky satin finish made with nitrocellulose lacquer is also one of the most popular!
