This is the highly collectible First Edition. It is signed on a special publisher's bookplate by the wife of Erwin Rommel, Lucie-Marie Rommel.
The endpages are colored battle maps. There are also two fold-out maps. Illustrated with maps an photos.

This is the definitive military history of Rommel's campaigns, told in his own words, and at the same time a human document of engrossing interest.
Condition: Covers are firmly attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. Binding is in very good condition. Pages are very clean and tightly bound. The outside foredges of pages shows some age-spotting. No previous owner names, signatures or bookplates. Book remains in near-very good condition.
