This humbucking pickup is housed in a modified Johnny Smith style gold or chrome plated metal cover which measures approximately 0.45" tall.
Note that the thickness of the pickup as stated above does not include the output cable; at the location of the output cable the additional space required for pickup installation is approximately 4 mm.

This eBay sale is for one custom "suspended"
humbucking pickup. The pickup is approximately
11.5 mm [0.45"] tall and is available in either a pick guard or neck heel mount style metal cover. The coils
of the pickup are surrounded by grounded shielding which is very effective in
eliminating noise from external electric fields.
If smooth, warm yet articulate
tone with reduced noise is your goal, this pickup is for you.

Each pickup is individually hand made by custom guitar
designer and builder Pete Biltoft at the Vintage Vibe Guitars production
facility.
Installation of pickups is relatively
easy, but does require that you have a good quality soldering iron (25 watt
pencil type recommended, such as the Weller WTCTP) and a good quality
multimeter (Fluke model 10, for example) to check your work. In addition, the
reference book Guitar Player Repair Guide, published by Hal Leonard
Publishing Corp, ISBN 0-87930-291-7 is recommended.
This pickup is guaranteed for 5 years from date of purchase
for the original purchaser and will be repaired or replaced free of charge
assuming there is no obvious physical damage. Details of the warranty are
included on the specification sheet provided with each pickup.
