Beautiful and unusual cup - a wonderful example of Meissen style Blue Onion pattern.

This lovely porcelain or semi-porcelain cup features gilded scalloped rim, elaborate rococo style handle, transfer applied flow-blue underglaze decoration with hand painted gold and red accents.

Condition: use marks and wear. Faint crazing throughout. Wear on the underside and on the handle. I haven’t noticed cracks or notable chips. Production related imperfections and minor discoloration due to crazing.

Marked with what appears to be mark from one of Brussel’s retailers or restaurants.
