White was a Planes Maker with his wife Charlette

and other family members in Philadelphia 

What an amazing piece of history knowing

this carpenters tool is well over 100 years old.

Made by a man younger then 35 at which age he met

his untimely death. What was really interesting

while researching, his wife Charlette being a plane maker

herself fashioned one in his honor, 

made with unique woods, silver inscribed 

with the year of his death 1839

and dovetail hearts, how cool is that?

and of course item will show signs of wear 

for its age.
