Monogramist H.N. Signed Oil on Paper Cypress Trees, Original 1930’s.
We like to imagine that this monogramed “HN” piece was painted plein air by the artist touring the Mediterranean in the 1930’s. The colors are remarkably vibrant given the age, and painted with an Impressionistic palette and lovely purple hued shadows. It’s housed in its original gilded frame, but with a new archival silk mat and conservation grade UV blocking glass.

Condition: The painting is in excellent condition, since it has been glazed for nearly a century. The original frame in which it it housed is still brilliantly gold, but has some damage touchups on the corners. Housed in archival materials, and ready to hang.

For other returns where the item is as described but is not what you are looking for, please contact us within 14 days of its delivery for a return authorization, and we will help you coordinate its return. A 20% restocking fee plus any shipping and handling costs we incurred will be deducted from your refund. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for. The returned item must be received in its original condition within 14 days of return authorization, after which point the sale is final.
Shipping Policy
Purchased items will generally ship within five to ten business days of receiving cleared payment. International purchases are not eligible for return.
