No equivalent of this particular edition online, a scarce early tome of a seminal work. A fine collectable reading copy that could do with some restoration work to bring back to former glory. Investment. 

CONDITION: Front board loose, neat previous owner's inscription inside front board '1869'. Loss about spine as seen in the photos, gilt barely visible, some chunks missing there and to the boards, bumping about edges of boards, some markings. Internally sound, mostly tightly bound, and relatively clear for age, fading commensurate with age, some pages with minor foxing, minor markings. Acceptable to fair, but wouldn't take much to restore.
