BESCHREIBUNG
Dekorative und großformatige Kupferstich-Ansicht von Antwerpen mit Blick auf die historische Stadt.
Im Vordergrund die Schelde mit Fregatten und Schiffen. Von 2 Platten gedruckt.
Mitttig mit Titel. Oben rechts mit Legende und Bezeichnung der einzelnen Gebäude.
Die Ansicht stammt aus einer der Ausgaben der „Archontologia“ von Johann Ludwig Gottfried,
welche im Jahr 1638, 1646 und 1695 erschienen.
ABMESSUNGEN
Blatt: 54,5 x 16,5 cm; Platte: 53 x 12,5 cm.
ZUSTAND
In sehr guter Erhaltung. Außenränder nur minimal gebräunt. Nahezu fleckenfrei.
Kräftiger und filigraner Druck auf festem Bütten. Geglätteter Mittelfalz.
Im unteren Rand beschnitten, jedoch volle Platte. Sehr schön ausgeführtes Kolorit.

DESCRIPTION
Decorative engraved copperplate engraving with Antwerp.
Title in the upper center and detailed legend in the right corner.
With some ships and fregattes in the foreground.
Detailed and in excellent quality executed colouring. Printed from 2 plates.
The view comes from one of the editions of "Archontologia" by Johann Ludwig Gottfried,
which were published in 1638, 1646 and 1695.
MEASUREMENTS
Leaf: 54,5 x 16,5 cm; Plate: 53 x 12,5 cm.
CONDITION
In very good condition. Minimally brownish at outer margins.
Strong and filigree impression on strong laid paper. Smoothed centerfold.
Trimmed size in the lower margin, but full plate. Very beautifully executed coloring.
