Description:

A Czech moulded glass charm in the shape of a frog in orange glass. This piece has a matt frosted finish. 

These charms were produced in many workshops in the town of Gablonz from 1890 until the 1930's.  

 

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Unmarked.
Age / date of manufacture: Late 19th / early 20th Century.
Size: Measures 2cm (just over 3/4") tall and is approximately 1.5cm (9/16") across the base from front to back.
Condition: In good undamaged condition with no chips. Has some very pronounced mould lines on the front of the frog and fine crease lines on the surface of the glass.  No metal collar and glass bead. Complete with both paste eyes.
