1920s Patent Medicine Flyer- Dr. Beaupre Treatment for Rheumatism & Neuritis.

- - -

DISCUSSION:

A testimonial flyer promoting the "Dr. Beaupre Treatment" for rheumatism and neuritis, with few details given except the price (10-day treatment for $1.50, 30-day treatment for $4.00). The flyer is mostly given over to the names and addresses of people who have supposedly taken the treatment and are willing to testify to its benefits. Although the treatment was "Dr. Beaupre"'s, the text of the flyer is signed by Paul Case of Brockton, Massachusetts, who was fined in 1945 for selling "misbranded iron tablets" about which he had made exorbitant and false medical claims.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS BUYERS, PLEASE NOTE:

SHIPPING: To comply with Ebay’s policies, all packages are shipped using recorded/trackable methods and you should check the postage quotes before completing a purchase. Our International shipping charges are based on the weight, when packed, of each package -we offer “combined shipping charges” for orders for more than one item –this often means the shipping cost for the items is less than it would have been if they had been purchased and shipped one at a time, so please ask us for a shipping quote if you are thinking about buying more than one item. Thanks!

CUSTOMS CHARGES: Your post office may impose a customs charge on your incoming package, we have no control over this and no information about it, please check with your post office for more information. It is against U.S. law and Ebay rules for us to lie on the customs form about the value of packages, please do not ask us to do this.
