The 62nd Separate Division of Armoured Trains (ODBP) was formed on 30 July 1942. Two trains were commissioned, No1 "Michuirinets" and No2 "Soviet Armenia".

The train was based around a PR-35 armoured locomotive with 30mm of armour. There was a DShK machine gun for air defence on the boiler chassis. The train had four armoured wagons (25mm armour), two the front and two to the rear of the locomotive each mounting a 76.2mm T-28 tank gun, 2 Maxim machines guns and 3 DT machine guns. Bringing up the rear was a flatbed wagon mounting two more DShK machine guns providing additional air defence.

The train fought in a number of successful engagements on the Kalinin front before being transferred in 1944 to the 2nd Baltic Front. The 'Soviet Armenia' continued in service until the end of WWII.

Includes photo-etched parts and decals plus tracks for displaying.
