This crisply classical deeply molded pine cove frame has antique glaze over bright gold metal leaf with with 4" wide moldings and a beaded details. The rich black velvet shallow cove has a bright gilt fillet at the reveal.
Measuring 23 1/4" x 27 3/8" with 15 5/8" x 19 5/8" reveal and 16" x 20" back rabbet opening, it dates from the 1960s and is sturdy and usable.
The original fabric liner is presentable and the frame is sturdy and usable with expected lint/dust on the velvet plush.
