So New York, just steeped in state history. You could serve from this little pitcher and tell Clinton stories all night.

The hand-applied decoration is gold and gray rings and scrolls on a cream background. Presidential and beautiful.

Vintage and truly an antique, too: Made in Syracuse, New York, between 1949 and 1970

Size: 3 1/8" 8 ounce creamer

New York has had two Governors Clinton (and one U.S. Senator Clinton.)

This piece of New York history honors Governor George Clinton, the first governor of New York State, and a Democratic-Republican.

Clinton was the Democratic-Republican vice presidential nominee in the 1804 election, as Thomas Jefferson dumped Aaron Burr from the ticket. In 1908, despite his opposition to Madison, Clinton was re-elected as vice president. Clinton died in 1812, leaving the office of vice president vacant for the first time in U.S. history.

It also honors his nephew, Governor Dewitt Clinton, the seventh and ninth governor or New York State.
