1999 Topps Stars New York Mets Team Set

For sale is a complete 1999 Topps Stars New York Mets team set (18 cards).

This set was quite innovative in its day, one of the earliest sets to feature base card parallels.  The base set was 180 cards, with 150 players and two subsets.  The first level parallel was made for cards 1-100, with a slightly zoomed in image and one star on the back next to the card number.  The second level parallel was made for cards 1-50, with a futher zoomed in image and two stars on the back.  The third level parellel was made for cards 1-20, with an even more zoomed in image and three stars on the back.  The fourth and final parallel was made for just cards 1-10, with a super close-up image and four stars on the back.  The more stars on the card, the tougher the odds to pull were.
