Rapidly becoming the most commonly worn uniform after their initial introduction in mid-1943, these tunics represented a huge reduction in material and construction costs. Featuring woollen construction, artificial silk liner and historically accurate sizing stamps. 6 front Field Grey buttons, updated tunic hook mounting, removable shoulder boards and simplified pockets as you would expect on an M43 tunic, all in a high-quality wool with an excellent reproduction of Feldgrau. Following the staggered changes in the exact colour of Field Grey seen during the war, these M43 uniforms use a slightly browner tone with less green than seen on earlier war patterns such as M36 and M40, another example of the detail put into this premium range.
