This vintage Jefferson Golden Hour Electric Clock is an excellent addition to any mid-century modern collection. The striking circular design featuring a round frame and clear glass is inspired by the atom and makes for a unique conversation starter.

Mid century modern style desk or mantel clock with clear glass face, The finish on these clocks is actually 24k brushed gold over an alloy casting. It's important for owners to know this, because if they use a brass cleaner to polish it up, the cleaner removes the finish, leaving an ugly nickel colored spot underneath. No chemicals should be used to clean them, just polishing with a gold jewelry cloth works fairly well. I was told the best way to clean them is in an ultrasonic tank using jewelry cleaning solution.
