A BRIEF ACCOUNT OF THE SERVICES OF THE 4TH BATTALION ROYAL FUSILIERS

IN IRAQ 1919/20.

This is a 19  page booklet which details the activities of the 4th Batt of the Royal Fusiliers in Iraq  from December 1919 and November 1920. Following the mandating of the region from the Ottoman Empire after WW1 to the  administration of Great Britain. The 4th Battalion when out and as described in the narrative had a rough time of it (nothing changes). This booklet  gives a good narrative of the Campaign and includes  Medal Roll, Casuality Roll Awards and Decorations plus a great deal more regarding this Campaign. Put together by the Archivist of the Royal Fusiliers in 2005 for limited circulation.

Of great interest to Royal Fusilier collectors and for scholars of the inter war period.
