Ultraviolet light is a light wave with a wavelength range of 10-400nm. Fluorescent substances that are irradiated by high-energy ultraviolet light emit visible light, which is called fluorescence. Due to differences in their composition or structure, substances may sometimes reflect different fluorescence colors and intensities
1. Cleaning samples:
Before use, carefully clean the sample to be tested and the inner box of the instrument. Oil stains and impurities can cause abnormalities
2. Place sample:
Place the sample to be tested in the center of the bottom of the observation box and carefully close the soft curtain of the sample box. Due to the different UV fluorescence intensities of the samples, in order to have a better observation effect, the background light should be as dark as possible. It is best to close the room curtain.
3. Observation:
Turn on the wavelength switch (red indicates short wave, green indicates long wave)
Observe the luminescence phenomenon of the sample inside the transparent window;
When switching to another wavelength, turn off the wavelength switch that has already been turned on, and then directly press the corresponding color switch;
When observing large objects, the light source part can be directly removed, but attention should be paid to ultraviolet protection and do not look directly at the purple light lamp;
