Description: A miniature pewter hand painted model of the White Rabbit as a herald from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" made by Hantel Victorian Miniatures (model VM60). Has jointed arms and legs.

The White Rabbit leads Alice to Wonderland and is in a rush! Here he is dressed in a tabard acting as herald to the King and Queen of Hearts.

The company was established in Warwick, England in 1973 and specialised in highly detailed pewter miniatures inspired by dolls house pieces. In 1980 they relocated to the North of Scotland.


Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Marked "HANTEL" on the back.  


Age / date of manufacture:

Hantel Victorian Miniatures were produced from 1973- 2007.

Size: Measures 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) tall.

Condition: In excellent undamaged condition.
