Kick Off is a series of football simulator published by Anco, which made the happiness of the players on Amiga and Atari ST from 1989.
Designed by Dino Dini, it offered several surprising features at the time, which were taken over by other licenses such as Sensible Soccer.
First, an aerial view that clashed strongly with the usual side views of the time. But the most important thing came from its gameplay: the ball did not stick to the feet. It took a while before you felt like you understood ball handling and even managed a pass or a shot.
Terribly difficult but rewarding when you take the time to train, in an almost sporty way. The principle of Kick Off Revival on PS4 will in any case seduce on a large scale.
