PokéROMs are mini-CD-ROMs to collect, both fun and educational. Ten titles are currently available, each dedicated to a particular creature (Pikachu, Mewtwo, Meowth, etc.) and containing a puzzle and a quiz. By finding pairs based on mathematical operations, the player accesses images that he can then print. Five levels of difficulty are proposed, in order to adapt to the skills of each one. The second part of the game consists of proving your skills as a Pokémon trainer by answering multiple-choice questions on general knowledge and… on Pokémon, as it should be. Playable alone or with others (up to 4), this test of knowledge and speed can contain up to 200 questions if you have the different CD-ROMs. All this is enhanced by the possibility of viewing some color images of the Pokémon. Unfortunately, if the concept seems attractive, we must admit that the educational content of the whole is rather limited. And unless they have all the versions, children may quickly go around and get bored.
