Die Goldmünze in der Qualität Polierte Platte wurde von der Münze Österreich ausgegeben und ist Teil der Millennium-Serie "1000 Jahre Österreich". Diese Ausgabe ist dem Wiener Kongress, der vom 18. September 1814 bis zum 9. Juni 1815 stattfand, gewidmet. Das Motiv präsentiert Kaiser Franz I. in Uniform mit Schärpe und dem Orden vom goldenen Vlies. Ebenfalls im Design enthalten sind die Aufschriften "FRANZ I KAISER VON ÖSTERREICH" und "1768-1835". Die Rückseite zeigt eine Nachstellung des historischen Wiener Kongress mit Kaiser Franz I, Frankreichs Außenminister Talleyrand-Périgord und Österreichs Außenminister Lothar von Metternich, sowie zwei weiteren Teilnehmern. Am äußeren Münzrand befindet sich die Aufschrift "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH - 500 SCHILLING". Die Lieferung der limitierten Gedenkmünze erfolgt im Originaletui inklusive einem Echtheits-Zertifikat.

The gold coin in proof quality was issued by the Austrian Mint and is part of the Millennium Series "1000 Years Austria". This issue is dedicated to the Congress of Vienna, which took place from September 18th, 1814 to June 9th, 1815. The design features Emperor Franz I in uniform with a sash and the Order of the Golden Fleece. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "FRANZ I KAISER VON ÖSTERREICH" and "1768-1835". The reverse depicts a recreation of the historic Congress of Vienna with Emperor Franz I, France's Foreign Minister Talleyrand-Périgord and Austria's Foreign Minister Lothar von Metternich, as well as two other attendees. On the outer edge of the coin is the inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH - 500 SCHILLING". The limited commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
