Twist-handle master butter knife in the 1879 CHICAGO  also called NEWPORT pattern marked:

              " Rogers & Bros A1" .

        Knife measures 7&3/8 inches long.

        Knife is in good condition showing a little wear. Blade is curved to the side a little. The raised pattern is crisp and clear showing most of the fine details. There are a some slight nicks and scratches to the silver plated blade a serious polishing would minimize. There are the usual slight scratches from stacking and storage with other silverware it is otherwise very good.      

          Knife will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it.
