This is the new variety of Philippines 1000 pesos polymer year 2023 with signatories of President Ferdinand "BBM" Marcos Jr. and BSP Governor Felipe Medalla. This banknote was awarded IBNS banknote of the year for 2022. The older variety bears the year 2022 and signatories of Duterte - Diokno.
