'90s Nylint Fire Pumper Truck Test Shot
Here up for sale is a Nylint paint test shot piece from the early to mid 1990s. My guess is that it's a part of a fire pumper, although it might be from some other Nylint truck. Piece measures eight inches long. Test shots were used to evaluate different baking finish paints on Nylint toy truck parts. The black marker numbers present were from paint film thickness tests, which can be removed with a little rubbing alcohol on a paper towel if desired. A small amount of rust spotting is present. Nice unusual item for the Nylint collector.
