The Type LA 2 Angenieux 35-140 f3.5 35mm cine zoom.

Lens is in Arriflex STD mount. Easy to adapt or convert to PL. Covers APSC sensor.

This is Angenieux's first commercially produced cine zoom. It's slow, rather soft and does not cover a massive focal range. That said its just a wonderful piece of glass, esp when paired with a digital sensor. Great for portrait shots.

You can also add a X2 (doubler) to have a 70- 270. Adding some versatility.

The lens was part of a personal collection. I am fortunate enough to already own one of these lenses. So am setting this one free to spread happiness and joy in another life!

I have provided a bunch of photos. I have also shot a small test in my backyard using a Fuji XT 3. I shot just in HD with one of the fujifilm LUTS applied in camera. It shows that the lens is in good working condition, zooming, changing aperture or stop and focusing. I have shot into the sun so as to show flare. This also should show up any nasty scratches, which you can hopefully see are non existent.

The lens in in really good condition. I would certainly service the lens if you want to take it on a feature film, or wanting it to be dead accurate. I am not sure when it last saw a collimator. The focus could do with a bit of new grease, I feel, a little fluid for my liking. These are details that anyone buying this age and style of lens must expect.

If you want it serviced and collimated I would be happy to have such a service done. That however would be at a nominal fee.

If you unsure don't buy it. If you know what it is and you know you want it, then grab it.

I cannot except returns, the complication with re-import would make it too costly, it is just not worth it for any one. Write me, Ask me and lets cover every aspect of it you would like to. No question is a silly question as they say in the classics.

I have included shipping in my price. I will ship the item with insurance. The company I will use is Pioneer Freight. They are a specialist motion picture courier service based in Cape Town South Africa. Google them if you are unsure.
