Offered are two rare 18K solid gold proof medals of Olympiacos Greek football club by Ellinikos Syllektikos 

Kyklos (Greek Collectors Circle). The medals commemorate the club’s 12th double (both Greek cup and Greek 

league champions), 2005-2006. They come in a dark blue presentation case with white satin and blue velvet 

lining and brass clasp and hinges (pictured). A certificate by Ellinikos Syllektikos Kyklos is also provided (pictured). 

Both medals are marked “750” on the reverse for 18K gold (pictured).

Medal no. 1 (on the right):

Obverse: Olympiacos’ emblem of laurel-crowned Olympic athlete. Lettering: “ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΣ 

ΦΙΛΑΘΛΩΝ ΠΕΙΡΑΙΩΣ” (Olympic Club of Fans of Piraeus) (pictured).

Obverse: Spiral text with names of all Olympiacos’ players in 2005-2006 and Olympiacos’ emblem of laurel-

crowned Olympic athlete in the center. Lettering: “ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΣ ΦΙΛΑΘΛΩΝ ΠΕΙΡΑΙΩΣ”

Reverse: Trophy. Lettering: “ΠΡΩΤΑΘΛΗΤΗΣ . ΚΥΠΕΛΟΥΧΟΣ . ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ . 2005 - 2006” (League winner .

Each medal weighs 8.8 grams (0.31 oz.) or a total of 17.6 grams (0.62 oz.) of solid gold for both medals. 

Diameter of each medal is 24.3 mm (1.0 in.). They are both in brilliant uncirculated condition (pictured).
