It was printed at
the Friary Press, Longmans (Dorchester) Ltd., of Dorchester, Dorset, and is the
undated, circa 1961 FIRST EDITION.
A delightful book,
at a time before huge building developments in Blandford St. Mary, presenting
the cream of country lore, including describing lost crafts, as well as old
roads and boundaries.

The book measures 8.75
inches x 5.75 inches and has 83 pages + illustrations and maps.
The book is in
good, bright, clean and neat condition for its age, with wear and tears/chips
to the edge of the still pretty good original dust-jacket (not even price-clipped!)
There are NO inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in
the book. The binding is good with no
loose or missing pages.
