Description:
- The AD5933 is a high-precision impedance converter system solution that integrates a frequency generator and a 12-bit, 1-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) on a chip. The signal generated by the frequency generator is used to stimulate the external complex impedance. The response signal of the external impedance is sampled by the on-chip ADC, and then processed by the on-chip DSP using discrete Fourier transform (DFT). The DFT algorithm returns a real part (R) data word and an imaginary part (I) data word at each frequency. Then, the impedance and phase values of the device under test can be calculated based on the real and imaginary data words.

- Programmable output peak to peak excitation voltage with output frequencies up to 100 kHz
- Programmable frequency scanning function and serial I2C Interface
- Frequency resolution: 27 bits (<0.1 Hz)
- Impedance measurement range: 1kΩ to 10MΩ
- The impedance of 100Ω to 1kΩ can be measured by using an additional circuit
- Internal temperature sensor (± 2â)
- Internal system clock options

- Dual operational amplifier mode: Connect J1, J3, J4, and J5, disconnect J2, and J6, and add 8606 dual operational amplifier optimized signal link.
