The upper of the SUEDE VTG MIJ WRS is made entirely from North American kip velour raw leather. It is characterized by its long, rough fur and fluff, and the individual differences in fur and fluff are greater than those of European raw hides, resulting in a finish that is typical of natural leather. Since it is carefully oiled in Japan by a tannery in Himeji that has the best suede production know-how in Japan, you can enjoy the unevenness and wetness of the oil, and since it is filled with oil, the leather itself has a surface water repellent function. The suede design is made in Japan with excellent functionality. The form strip is made of 64 cloth. It has the characteristics of both cotton and nylon materials, and is more breathable than cotton and more abrasion resistant than nylon. When it absorbs moisture, the fibers expand and become water-repellent, making it an excellent match for oil velour. The unique materials used for oil velour and 64 cloth make cutting and molding extremely difficult, and since oil velour has large individual differences in uneven color and fluff even within a single piece of leather, the leather is reworked many times and carefully cut and sewn so that the shoes do not look out of place while taking advantage of the leather's unique characteristics. In addition, because the leather contains oil, the color changes depending on the subtle force of the insertion, the leather is molded by the hands of craftsmen who have accumulated skills while maintaining the condition so that the texture of the finished material is not spoiled, and it is truly the culmination of the skills of a master craftsman.
