Description

L.A.Lady Overdrive is a new generation pedal that not only breaks the preconceptions of DSP distortion sounds, but also allows you to add a variety of sounds to the main unit's default sound by manipulating a rich set of parameters accessed through the editor.

With Neuro App or Hub Manager (Source Audio SA164 Hub v1 is required separately), you can not only adjust dry / wet, but also adjust 4 types of para EQ, assign functions to knobs, noise reduction, and route settings. It is possible to operate a rich set of parameters, such as serialization/parallelization of effects, as shown in the diagram below.

In combination with Soundblox Hub v1, the L.A. Lady Overdrive's preset area is expanded to 128, transforming it into a MIDI controllable overdrive.

By default, it is equipped with three drive effects.
CLASSIC mode produces thick, rhythmic sounds to screamy lead tones.
SMOOTH mode is characterized by a punchy midrange sound with a strong modern Texas blues feel.
CRUNCH mode provides Source Audio's unique sound that simulates the overdrive of a vacuum tube amplifier. In addition to a warm, well-rounded low-gain tone, it also provides a wide range of drive control.

Neuro App

Neuro App is a free downloadable iOS or Android application. The Neuro App allows you to access parameters that cannot be accessed with the L.A.Lady Overdrive's knobs. To use the Neuro App, connect the included 3.5mm-1/4 TRS cable from your mobile device's headphone jack to input2. When using the Neuro App, please set the headphone volume on your iOS/Android device to MAX.
L.A.Lady Overdrive allows you to use the following functions by using the Neuro App.
･You can download and use distortion/fuzz effects that will be released from Source Audio for free.
- Routing options allow two types of effects to be handled in series/parallel.
･You can choose between buffered bypass and true bypass.
- Created effects can be saved as presets and shared with Neuro's user community.
- Search and download free effect presets from Source Audio's library.
･Neuro App can be used by simply connecting the headphone jack on the mobile side and Stereo Input2 on the L.A.Lady Overdrive side with a cable. Neuro App connector cables (1/8 and 1/4) are included with L.A.Lady Overdrive.
