This dimmer switch is approximately 71mm x 34mm x 34mm

Please note that the loads differ depending on the type of bulb that you are using.

If you are using:

Incandescent & Halogen (filament) bulbs, the dimmer has a range of 4W - 150W.

LED bulbs, the dimmer has a range of 4W - 25W (4 bulbs max).

This can be used in conjunction with your incandescent or halogen floor/table lamps. Certain dimmable LEDs may also be used, but the 4W minimum load would have to be adhered to. 


To install, follow the wiring instructions in the photo below.

1. Cut the Live wire and solder to the wiring points shown in wiring diagram image.
2. The Neutral wire is left intact and is passed through the switch.

3. Close the back cover and tighten the screws and then push the knob into position.


A maximum of 150W can be dimmed from a single 240V dimmer.


It is important to appreciate that not all dimmer switches will provide effective, smooth and flicker-free dimming. The operation of common mains voltage AC dimmers appears similar but the electrical characteristics vary significantly.
