This listing is for an unused 5m (approximately) continuous length of Orange fabric in what looks like a Coated Jersey Knit.

154cm / 60" wide approx

I have no idea what this fabric is or it's composition so can only do my best to describe what I see plus take from the information I have found online, which I hope is helpful.

It is lightweight with a smooth, slightly shiny outer surface which seems to be somewhat water repellant (not waterproof) as when I splashed water on a sample piece, it pooled for a while on the surface rather than absorbing straight into the fabric.

Looking at the material, it looks like the structure of a jersey knit, with the smoother, shiny knit side to the front and what looks like a duller subtle loop/brushed/pearled (as in knitting) to the back - I have tried to show the front and back in the photos.

Searching online, and looking at how it behaves, the nearest I can come up with is a possible (PUL Coated) Jersey Knit or something similar, based on the water repellent bit - Can't be sure and not guaranteed, but a starting point - - If anyone knows better and can identify it, please do get in touch.

I would think this is ideal for tops, loungewear and some sports type wear.

It is quite lightweight with a vertical stretch and I would think very easy care fabric, as in wash and hang to dry.

Unsure of fabric composition but certainly feels more nylon/polyester/synthetic based rather than natural fibres.

Have listed this as a 5 metre piece, but it is slightly longer and does not include the unevenly cut ends, which I have left on as may just be useful to someone!

It does have some marks along one selvage edge at intervals (see last two photos), which may well wash out or could be worked around and hidden in seams.

Brand is unknown.

Length is continuous.

3 and 5 metre lengths available on other listings

The fabric is Unused, although has been stored away for quite some years and could benefit from a wash or airing to freshen up.

Selling cheap to account for any blemishes, but I have done my best to go through it - sorry if I have missed anything.

Postage costs are due to weight of fabric but if you want to collect in person or arrange your own courier please let me know. Also happy to combine postage where possible (not always cheaper) if you buy more than one lot, but please let me know BEFORE paying to avoid unnecessary charges.

On many of the fabrics I am putting postage price separately rather than including it in the fabric price so if you want to buy more than one lot, I can hopefully get a better price.

Will be working my way through a huge pile of assorted fabrics from my personal collection, and hopefully listing over the next few weeks or so - desperately need to clear some space again and hopefully by selling it cheap, may help someone else out also.

I am having a lot of trouble getting the colour of the fabric accurate in the photos, but generally the first one will be the closest and further photos are often used to show texture, marks, or drape!

Please also bear in mind that colours on computer/phone screens can also vary and the fabric may look slightly different in colour when you receive it.

We do have small animals but these are not normally near the fabric, but you may find the odd hair - please just be aware if you are very sensitive/allergic to cats/dog hair.

Will post either by Royal Mail or Courier.

If I have not offered free postage then I am Happy to combine postage where possible (not always cheaper), but please message me for a combined invoice BEFORE paying to avoid unnecessary fees, many thanks.
