Description:

A Georg Jensen, Denmark silver child's knife with a hollow silver handle and a stainless steel blade. This knife was made as part of a 3 piece set in 1979 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Georg Jensen. The handle has a hammered finish with a stylised leaf design set with a polished Carnelian stone. This pattern was originally designed by Georg Jensen himself.

On the reverse side of the handle there is the facsimile signature of Georg Jensen and the dates 1904-1979 engraved.

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Marked on the blade and handle and in the original box, as shown in the photographs.
Age / date of manufacture:

1973.

Size: Measures 6 1/2" (16.5 cm) long and the handle is 3/4" (just under 2 cm) across at the widest point. 
Condition: Lightly used and well looked after, no rust on the stainless steel blade and no dents or splits in the silver handle. It has been used and polished so has some fine surface scuff marks on the silver handle. The box is intact but has light marks all over from storage. Please see the photographs above.
