The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HSH FR M draws on 40 years of guitar building experience to create a sophisticated model with modern features and a versatile sound that guitarists will love.
Born from a love of high-speed playing and So-Cal style, this high-performance guitar combines the classic playability and innovative design that made Charvel a prestigious brand.
A So-Cal style body made of alder wood and a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods provide comfortable playing.
It features a heel-mounted spoke wheel that allows for easy truss rod adjustment, a neck shape suitable for light playing, and a 22F maple fingerboard with a 12- to 16-inch compound radius that can be used for everything from low-position riff plays to high-speed play. It is compatible with all styles of performance, including high-speed lead play in position.
This model is equipped with three pickups: a high-output Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 bridge humbucker, a Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 Single-Coil middle pickup, and a Seymour Duncan Distortion SH-6N neck humbucker.
This powerful pickup set produces rich harmonics in the bridge position, perfect for blues and metal riffs, reproduces the high-output Stratocaster sound in the middle position, and is ideal for thick lead playing in the neck position. Adds crunch tone.
