The San Dimas alder body features a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement to prevent deformation and warping due to environmental changes. The Speed neck profile is designed for blisteringly fast play and seamless position changes, and the comfortably rolled-edged fingerboard and satin-finish finish on the back of the neck give it a comfortable feel in your hand. The neck hosts a 12- to 16-inch compound-radius maple fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets, and a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel for quick and easy neck adjustments. In addition to the durable Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, Luminlay side dots ensure you never lose your position, even on stage or in the dark.
This model is equipped with innovative EMG pickups and has an HH configuration perfect for modern players. The rear EMG57 pickup has plenty of headroom and punch, giving unparalleled clarity and presence, reminiscent of unmistakable PAF quality, while the front EMG 66 pickup delivers treble clarity and warm, smooth sound. It brings midrange and expansive bass.
The simple controls feature Long's 3-way pickup blade switch and single dome-style volume knob. The Charvel HT6's hardtail string-through body improves intonation stability and increases sustain and rumble.
