VEGGIE DYE TAPESTRY ~ Gorgeous King size veggie dye dabu hand block printed tapestry or spread. Made of 100% power-loomed cotton offering a strong, tight, durable weave. Measures approximately 110 x 110 inches. Color is basic black, white and gray. A lovely geometric pattern with a subtle floral motif. Can be machine washed separately on cool gentle and tumble dried. Always wash dabu products before use to set the dye. What makes this technique unique is the fact that block printing on textiles refers to the method by which hand carved wooden blocks are dipped in dye and hand pressed along a length of cloth to create a repeated pattern. The whole process of printing is completely done by hand. Matching pillow shams can be purchased separately for a great ensemble. A lovely quality with endless versatility.
