A most beautiful Italian round fine linen hand embroidered
whitework tablecloth with filet figural inserts of winged cupids, urns and maidens.
The stitches are skillfully worked into the linen in whitework embroidery and
adorned with eyelet cutwork. Lovely 5
inch scalloped filet lace edge trim. Dating from the turn of the century.
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
Tablecloth measures 72” in diameter including its scalloped filet
lace edging measuring 5".
CONDITION
In excellent condition with, no stains, no repairs, no
damage and strong and sturdy with no weakness. Recently laundered and pressed.
