Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 155 years old with original hand coloring as issued. It is from an
1863 edition of Cornell's Grammar-School Geography, published in New York, by Appleton & Company, 1863, a
copy of the atlas tittle page is included with the map. It is being sold as a
single sheet, not mounted, matted nor framed, basically as seen in the
main pic. Overall, a very nicely preserved map with strong color that would frame up well.
Size: The map area inside the border measures approximately 8 by 9 3/4 inches
(20x25cm) on a 9 by 10 3/4 inch page (23x27cm), nice margin all around
for framing.
Condition: It is in Very Good condition, with text on reverse, binding edge with string holes has been left untrimmed. Overall, it is very clean with strong hand coloring, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are
of the
actual map.
